A Candle
Media-Pen and ink
The inspiration was caused by it lasting sometimes for as hours or days if being used. As time goes by the candle either melts or stays there.
The process was caused by pen and ink and it took time and help to get to that point. Different ways to make it and the light source as well.
A broken area
media-watercolor
My inspiration for this piece. Was due to a video and seeing towns without any thing as people and animals disappear. People are nice but being in a quiet area with no one is better for time and thinking time.
The process was with brushes as flat and round for big and small spaces. Time was used for the wash and the wooden part of the area to try it.
Light
media-monochromatic acrylic
My inspiration was caused by storms and hiding away from it. When you're a child you get scared of various things and as time goes by you have less things to be scared of or it stays with you.
The process was caused by brushes to cover areas and the lines weren't messed or jagged. Putting blue in layers in the clouds and in the background.
A tree and land
Media-Oil pastels
My inspiration for this piece is by seeing a tree fall over and someone telling me about it. Time does things to nature and everyone so why not draw a dead tree in a living area to see what can happen with oil pastels in it.
The process is by oil pastels to do the land and tree. It was difficult to get into the small areas so another item was used to do so.
Shocked
media-Grid drawing
The inspiration for the piece was him being shocked and being zoomed in. Him being shocked looked fun to make with shading and placement.
To create this piece I used a grid to make sure it was all in place. After that shading or value was added to dark to light.
